This is a great tool for drawing clips or controlling metal movement in all of your forging applications. It has the same handle as our rounding and clipping hammers.

These hammers are available in 1.75 lb, and 2 lb. They are made of 4140 alloy steel and are hardened on the striking surfaces of the hammer. The body of the hammer is slightly softer, which absorbs some of the vibration caused when the hammer strikes another object. These Cross Peins are perfectly balanced. By balanced we mean, they are the same weight on the pien side as on the flat side. This is what keeps the hammer from wanting to twist in your hand.
